Creators Class had a fantastic trip to Hilfield Friary on Tuesday. Led by Yeo Rivers Community Trust, we had the opportunity to learn about natural flood defences, tested phosphate levels in water samples, completed wildflower and grass quadrate surveys, pond dipping, dormouse checks, harvesting fruit and vegetables and we even got to feed some sheep! We are very lucky to have such experts sharing their knowledge and expertise with us. We are also really grateful to Richard and the Friary for allowing us to visit such an amazing place and for covering the cost of the transport.
