Safeguarding

Safeguarding Statement

At St Margaret’s, we are fully committed to safeguarding all children and promoting their welfare. This commitment is shared by every member of our staff and all volunteers.

To support this, we have a comprehensive set of policies and procedures in place available on our website including our Child Protection & Safeguarding Policy. These guide our actions and ensure a consistent approach to keeping children safe.

In situations where there are concerns about a child’s wellbeing, we may need to share information and collaborate with external agencies. Wherever possible, we will speak with parents or carers about our concerns first, unless doing so would place the child at immediate risk.

We actively support the Government’s Prevent strategy, working to counter radicalisation and extremism, and we are proud to promote British Values throughout our school community.

Our Safeguarding team can be contacted through the school office on 01935 822686 or office@stmargaretsceva.com

Our Safeguarding Lead is – Ms H Robinson (Headteacher)

Our Safeguarding Deputy is – Mrs E Bailey-Jones

Our Safeguarding Governor is – Mrs C Craig

Report a concern:

Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. If you have any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, please speak to one of our Safeguarding Officers at school. If you’re worried about a vulnerable child outside of school hours, please don’t hesitate to seek help—your voice could make a vital difference.
