- We celebrated Roald Dahl Day where everyone dressed up as their favourite character from one of the books. Our lovely new teacher Ollie was the BFG with very large ears, and I came as Mrs Twit (much appreciated by the children!). Present too were Oompa Loompas and Willie Wonkas. It is amazing what a favourite Roald Dahl still is generation after generation, and the children had a wonderful time.
- So maybe this is a good time to introduce Ollie Dodson-House, our new Year 3-4 teacher who has joined us straight from university and is a Somerset lad through and through! Welcome Ollie! We are delighted you have joined us and the pupils already love you.
- Finally, we had a Dress as Your Hero Day where a host of boxers (including girls) and footballers came to school, accompanied by princesses and firefighters. We even had a dragon! All the donations went towards Yeovil Town FC's Three Peaks Challenge which supported Yeovil Hospital Charity, Mind in Somerset and The Hub.
