Creators class have been learning about World War 2. In DT we designed and made Anderson shelters. The children thought about all the items that would be needed inside of them and made everything themselves, working out the best way to secure all the items. When we went on our trip, the adults at Nothe Fort were really impressed with our knowledge about both Anderson and Morrison shelters.
Thank you to all the parents who helped us by donating resources. We were especially excited to make really realistic shelters, covered in moss.
Well Done to Immy and Dakota - who's Anderson shelter was deemed the best - a very difficult decision for the judges.
